Personal Favourite Shiny Hunts
These shiny hunts are some of the hunts that stand out the most to me, whilst they may not be the most time consuming, least known or rarest, they have a few special qualities that help them stand out, some of them even have their own qualities that help them stand out from other similar hunts
Game Corner Porygon
Porygon is a very rare Pokémon, usually gifted to the player instead of found in the wild, while this is still the case with the Game Corner, this is the only way to get a legitimate shiny Porygon in generation one, and the preferred method of getting a shiny Porygon in the generation two and three games, in fact it was impossible to catch a Porygon in the wild until generation four. (and even then it is still very rare!)

Extreme Speed Dratini
Not only is this an interesting way to reset for a Pokémon normally only rarely found in the wild, this Dratini comes with an exclusive move that is also very viable in future generations of Pokémon, in the current generation of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, Dragonite is currently a very relevant part of both Single and Double battles with Extreme Speed being a large reason for why.

Shiny Shadow Pokémon
Despite taking a long time per encounter, every shadow Pokémon is capable of obtaining the maximum amount of obtainable ribbons, making them the best candidates for Ribbon Masters, many shiny Pokémon in Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD also have different shiny colours to their main game counterparts, this means that certain Pokémon get a unique colour palette within these games.

Shaymin
Shiny Shaymin in generation four is another Pokémon that can be carred entry to the newer generations, as the event to access Shaymin was never released in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, only Shaymin caught in Pokémon Platinum can be transferred, since the void glitch does not work in this game, the only way to get this Shaymin "legitimately" is to use fan-made servers to obtain the discontinued event and access and shiny hunt it as normal

Kyurem-Black/Kyurem-White
Kyurem-Black and Kyurem-White are fusion of two separate Pokémon, what is quite interesting about this Pokémon however is that while the Pokémon that Kyurem can fuse with are both shiny-locked, Kyurem itself is not, as the shininess of Kyurem-Black and Kyurem-White is determined by Kyurem's shininess, it is possible to get shiny Kyurem-Black and Kyurem-White in generation 5.

Masuda Method
Masuda Method is easily the most adaptable method of shiny hunting, almost every single Pokémon is huntable in this way, the odds are given a generous increase and there is no chance of losing the shiny once it is found, the only problem with this hunt being it's sheer utility making it easy to get tired of using the same methods for every single Pokémon

SOS Battles
SOS battles are probably the second most applicable shiny hunting method, with many different Pokémon being obtainable from this method, this method is also a very efficient shiny hunting method, with a high likelihood of finding a shiny Pokémon, on top of being fun (even for extended periods of time), and sometimes even being able to get much rarer Pokémon, this is easily one of my favourite shiny hunting methods
